EIGHTH ANNUAL NATIONAL CO-OP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The National Commission for Cooperative Education, on behalf of the eight NCCE Partner Colleges and Universities, is pleased to announce and sponsor its Eighth Annual National Co-op Scholarship Program. As the largest independently sponsored merit co-op scholarship program in the United States, the National Commission will award 170 merit co-op scholarships of $6,000 each, for a total renewable value of $4,200,000. These merit co-op scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors and transfer students who plan to participate in college cooperative education at one of our Partner Colleges and Universities listed in this booklet.

THE HISPANIC SCHOLARSHIP FUND The National Commission for Cooperative Education is proud to assist and promote the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF), the nation’s leading organization supporting Hispanic higher education. Founded in 1975 as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, HFS’s vision is to strengthen the country by advancing college education among Hispanic Americans. In support of its mission to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees, HSF provides the Latino community more college scholarships and educational outreach support than any other organization in the country. HSF scholarship opportunities are available to graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll in college, community college students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university, currently enrolled college students, and graduate and professional students. Students must be of Hispanic heritage, be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or the equivalent) and apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For more details about HSF scholarship programs and to apply online, please visit the HSF web site at www.hsf.net.
